It figures that Jack would fall asleep after lunch--he IS a baby after all. However, we weren't surprised to find that my dad gave in to a nap, too.
That pic was taken while we were in the snake house--Addi's FAVORITE part of the zoo. We were at the FW Zoo and they have LOTS of snakes. When we walked by the rattlesnake, Addi said "Now THERE'S a rattlesnake!" We were so proud that she could pick it out from the many different types. We definitely took advantage of the teachable moment to deliver a lesson on snake safety at the deer lease and other places. Hopefully we won't ever find out if the lesson(s) took.
After finishing our trek of the zoo, we were all very hot and sweaty. Turns out, one of the zoo cafes serves Blue Bell. We had to stop in for that and Addi got her very own scoop. Do you think she enjoyed it?

Addi looks like a girl who doesn't get ice cream too often. We know Tricia is sneaking her daily ice cream in after bedtime! :) JK
I'm not ashamed of that, Kelly!!! And to be honest, we haven't had ice cream in our freezer for well over a month! Bet you can't say the same ; )
Keeping up with four children two of which are very young was lots of work. I also as you can see need my regular beauty rest.
