Addi's Room

So much for the cute video but here are some pictures of her new big-girl room.  We painted over the green using the two colors that are in Jackson's room, a taupe color that is just a bit darker than the rest of our house with a brown accent wall. She calls it her brown room.  We LOVE how the furniture looks against the dark walls, especially the brown one.  So pretty!

The walls will be bare for a while.  I'm planning on just buying things as I see them and fall in love.  It might take a while, but she does have a picture over her bed that says "Always kiss me goodnight"...as if we need a reminder!

Since there are so many drawers for storage in her bedroom, her closet had a lot of extra space. We put her books & puzzles on some of the low shelves, and she's also set up a daycare center in there for her two babies. She loves the little cubby space and really likes that she can close the door and keep her brother out of her special things. We find her in there a lot. She has one picture that is very special that her great-grandmother, Grandma, painted for her. She got to choose where it would be hung and she chose her closet. There is plenty of room and she'll be able to look at in all the time when she's playing. Her explanation was that "Squishy Baby likes the trees."
