Not original, but cute anyways...
While making oatmeal with G this morning...
A: "When it (the timer) gets to 5, it's time to stir."
G: "Actually, this is a timer so it will count backwards from 5. Can you count backwards, Addi?"
A: "Yes...," as she turned around in her chair, "...1, 2, 3, 4, 5!!!"
Kids are so literal. I'll bet she comes home counting backwards though. G never misses a teachable moment.
