If we weren't already married, that would have clenched it for me for certain. It's a no brainer...it might not seem like a romantic Valentine date to you, but it was perfect for us. Jeff's folks came out around lunch time Saturday and kept the kids while Jeff and I spent the rest of the day on the Brazos. He even got me a new light weight rod to use and I fished the entire time. We stopped at one fishing hole for over an hour while we fished and ate lunch. I caught two striped bass and one large mouth. It was awesome. Toward the end of our trip, about dusk, we saw tons of deer, turkeys, and hogs, including a couple of teeny-tiny baby ones.
This was the larger of the two striper...not big, but nice for the river.
Not a keeper either but bringing in this little fighter on my tiny little rod was fun.
Are you wondering why there aren't any pics of Jeff with fish? He only caught one and it was too tiny to even count as a fish : ) But he was paddling most of the time so he wasn't fishing much.

Way to go girl, catch em all. I think it is wonderful that you two have so much in common and share so many good times together.
